Masai Beehive – Kenya
May 2026
Volunteer Program + Safari: A Meaningful Experience in Africa
Experience a journey that brings together service, culture, education, and adventure. Be part of our mission by supporting the development of the school garden at Olepoipoi School, fostering students’ holistic growth through strong values, connecting with the Maasai culture, and enjoying an unforgettable safari in the Maasai Mara.

WHY IS THIS JOURNEY UNIQUE?
In 2024, we took a historic step at Olepoipoi School: we built the first Maasai library and an early childhood learning space known as the “Maasai Beehive.” Today, it stands as a place of cultural exchange, learning, and connection with the world.
This milestone is part of a journey of more than 15 years—one that began with just a few students and now impacts over 500. Together with the community, we have built classrooms, installed kitchens and water tanks, implemented solar energy, and delivered educational programs focused on values and leadership.
In 2025, we celebrated the opening of a new water well, ensuring access to a vital resource for children and their families. And in 2026, with your support, we will take the next big step:
-
🌱 We will create a school garden (farm) that will provide nutritious food for students and become a model of sustainability for the community.
-
🎓 We will support the new Maasai Beehive Ambassadors. You will enjoy seeing students who have completed the just bee program become mentors and leaders, guiding and inspiring others through their example.
-
🤓 We will document Maasai cultural traditions. We will walk alongside community leaders and elders who will share their traditions, knowledge of medicinal plants, and core values.
-
🦁 We will explore the African savanna after our work at the school. We’ll enjoy an unforgettable weekend safari in the Maasai Mara, with the chance to see lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and wildlife in its purest form.
This is not just an exciting trip to Kenya and the Maasai Mara—it is a transformative experience for you, and for an entire community.
